The municipality consists of the villages of Muldain, Lain, Lenzerheide, Valbella and Zorten as well as the small fraction of Obersolis on the other side of the Albula. The municipality covers an area of about 42.5 sq.m2. The lowest point is in the Schienschlucht gorge at around 700 metres above sea level. The highest point is on the Parpaner Rothorn at around 2,865 metres above sea level.
